Yin Yoga is an internal and meditative approach to practice that helps to improve circulation, and joint mobility while cultivating awareness and inner stillness. In Yin Yoga you release into long holds of postures. Postures are held for 3-5 minutes. These holds softly open the connective tissues and apply gentle stress to ligaments and tendons, allowing them to fully release. Many of the postures focus on areas that encompass a joint (hips, sacrum, spine). This class is not heated and 60 minutes in length.
